About the Author
Pastor Suzette Caldwell was called to pray at an early age. Since then, the
renowned spiritual leader has witnessed miraculous answers to prayer through her
partnership with God and by praying using His Model Prayer (the Lord’s Prayer)
as a guide. She has prayed for and taught people from all walks of life how to
command and declare God’s will for their lives.
With a strong faith and trust in
God, firsthand knowledge of the power of prayer, years of teaching experience,
and the testimonies of hundreds of believers, she has taken her mission to the
printed word with her new book, Praying to Change Her Life.
Pastor Suzette is more than qualified to fulfill God’s purpose for her life. She
is Board Chair and President of The Prayer Institute, a nonprofit,
community-based organization that is committed to praying for people and
teaching people how to pray. She is also Associate Pastor for the 14,000-member
Windsor Village United Methodist Church and is included in the ordained ministry
process of the United Methodist Church.
A graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Industrial Engineering,
Pastor Suzette has served as an environmental engineer in the public and private
sectors for more than 14 years. As an entrepreneur, she owned TC Consulting
Group, Inc., an environmental consulting company. She is actively involved with
several non-profit boards, has chaired the CityFest Houston Prayer Campaign and
Operation Compassion Chaplaincy for Hurricane Katrina Victims, and has received
numerous awards for her leadership and work.
Pastor Suzette is married to Kirbyjon Caldwell, Senior Pastor of Windsor Village
United Methodist Church, and is the mother of three children.
